AudioToNote

Your ultimate assistant that turns an audio to words and save in your notebook!

What is AudioToNote?

The AudioToNote is an API that transcribes and translates an audio in a video to printed words and automatically save the words in your favorite virtual cloud notebook. When you subscribe to certain YouTube channels or certain YouTube users, once there are new videos uploaded, the API automatically transcribes or translates the videos into words in your own language and save the documents into your OneNote or Evernote. You can also set a certain search string in the API so that whenever there is a new video matches with this search string, you will receive new note updates in your virtual notebook right away.

Why to Use AudioToNote?

AudioToNote is a great tool for people work in different roles and have different hobbies.

For students: Nowadays, people post a lot of educational materials on YouTube to share new knowledge and new technologies. Students can easily learn a new set of skills by following the YouTube channels. With this API, students can get transcripts from the videos in their own language in their virtual notebook that can be accessed everywhere. They don’t have to watch the videos again and again to find certain knowledge points! They can even make notes to help them understand the content of videos on the notebook!

For online influencers: This API will save tons of time for people who are working on subtitles for their own videos. Instead of typing your own words line by line, this API will help you transcribe what you say in the video and can also translate into different languages! Video editing just become so much easier!

Go Premium!

AudioToNote also offers a premium version for industries and teams that need to deep dive into the big data area. This API is ideal for marketing purpose. Instead of saving data into a virtual notebook, the data can also be saved into MySQL, AWS or other cloud database. In addition, AudioToNote also provides the ability to send data to analytics tools such as Google Analytics. You can track the data from anywhere, anytime and receive updates in no time!

What makes us Unique?

Is there any competitor? Of course there are!

There are a lot of free tools and free tutorials online that teach you how to turn videos into transcripts and save on the cloud server. However, this API aims to automate everything and you don’t have to manually do anything. It saves you time and make your day more efficient.

We also offer tailored solutions to meet your unique needs. We also provide support 24/7 so that you do not have to worry about anything.

What is behind AudioToNote?

The AudioToNote is actually based on Zapier platform.

To build a simple version of the API for general use:
• We want to set up all the following 4 triggers for users to choose from:
• The example will just use a string match to illustrate how to build the connection with transcription API.
• Ask users to sign into YouTube using their own account credentials:
• Create a filed for user to input their search strings/YouTube channel/ YouTube users
• Create a test page to let users know that it is all set on the YouTube side
• For the transcription API, we will use Temi API. We will use “Submit Transcription Job” action.
• We will provide users the API key once they sign up our service. (since we do not have the API key right now, we cannot show the screenshots)
• In Temi, for input URL, we need to select “Embedded URL” and title for the file will set the same as the video title
• The next step is to save the transcript into OneNote (or Evernote with similar setup steps)
• Then the API will write the tile and content into OneNote
• The final API flow should look like this:
• Note: For some of the virtual notebook app, a cloud driver API might need to be added to save the transcription first then write into notebook.

To build a premium version of the API or other customized request, the API flow is very similar to the gemeral use one. Here will just illustrate how to connect Google drive with Google analytics.
• Replace OneNote by Google drive
• Ask users to sign in Google drive
• Select Temi transcription as the file to upload to the drive. Also, create functions for users to freely create new folder in the Drive to save the file
• Then Google drive will connect with Google Analytics to run the report:
• After user sign into google analytics, users can customize their own reports or they can ask us to help with the report designing.
• The final flow should look like this:
